Summary0001358: Massadd Episodes bad byte code for the japanese transcriptions
Descriptionok, I have been attempting to edit episode titles using the massep option. however when I hit submit it tells me I have some bad byte code for the japanese transcriptions. can you not have perl strip those codes out, or just skip it so that the entire post request can be processed? as it will yell at you for putting in bad data, but then messes with data entered in for some of the other values.

0000012 currently listing as blank

is an example of this.

Then when I go back to try an edit the field that gave the error and re-submit it wont let me... so It would be nice if this could be changed a little bit. to make it a little nicer for people to use.

could you please say if at the footer of the page the Javascript line says anime3/addepm.js or just addepm.js.
also could you give an example of the titles you were trying to add?

The only javascript I see are in the header, and anime3/addepm.js is loaded.

"eumentaaru sennyuu"

"owari to hajimari"

the second one worked fine on massep, the first one did not.

I think that the issue shows up when copy-pasting information from other pages.

I think it might be something like \n , \t or \r\n just something would not show up in a text field, but still cause the error message of not being standard 7-bit ascii.
