| Description | As it is now we have a problem handling the status of releases by groups. They are not being properly maintained. Forcing users to register and post in the forum is not good and so the database is slowly becoming a mess in this matter because of lack of help. I would like to see a CREQ system for this to tell a mod about a drop of a release by a group pointing them to the link/info pertaining that decision. And we should also decide on what to do with: 1. Not acknowledged releases (Group X doesn't list as his project Anime Y) 2. Dead groups (that will nevr release remaining files, like ^_^ that become AOI) 3. Partial releases when a group only releases last episodes of a series to complete a dropped release by a group. Well, in the long run CREQs for everything are ontodo, however, we will never know how long that will take :P I will probably look into this again at some point, but it doesn't have a high priority atm. |

well it's kinda hard to say but sometimes a group quits and suddenly re-opens again. maybe if you put a field in the database that says it's dead and that it won't be able to change unless it's reported that it's subbing again. something like this if (fileadded&groupisdead)groupisdead=1 and with anime series if (groupisdead&animedropped=0)animedropped=1 those are not real codes but it's easier to explain in that way lol |
