Summary | 0001115: MyListAdd: edit=1 with no corresponding MyList file
Description | Currently it is a little inconvenient to add files, where the current status of it is unknown. So sometimes you have to send 2 commands to actually add/edit a file to the MyList. So it would be convenient if there would be something like edit=2, which would edit the file if present in the MyList or add it if not.

An update on this request: The original design of the API forced the MYLIST changes to be two distinct steps: one to get current data, and a second step to make any changes. I have been unable to determine any code rationale for this design, and it MAY just be leftover from earlier requirements that are no longer in effect. My feeling right now is to -drop- the 'edit' parameter entirely, but need to give much more thought about possible side effects before I do so. |
