| Description | Guise search with kanji: http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=creator&creatorid=2406 click edit, then search for... for example this guy's kanji name -> http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=creator&creatorid=2790 and there are no results. It works for characters, why not make it work for creators? Furthermore, when searching for the same name you're adding the guise relation from, it doesn't return anything, which is good, but there should be a message saying "Search only returned this very same character/creator." So that the user would know. The same message should be added for when searching for character-character relations and only the same character is found you're adding the relation from. Moving on to character-character relations, while the kanji search works there, "Show Related" doesn't return anything with kanji, so that needs also fixing. When doing a search for a seiyuu to add to the character, it doesn't exclude the already existing seiyuu. It won't allow adding the same seiyuu again, but it only reports a "DB ERROR". So this can be made a bit more informative after the search already by saying "Search only returned a seiyuu already added to this character in this anime." Pages that are missing AJAX search: creator-creator relation; anime-anime relation (which I guess is done now); character-anime relation (when adding from character or from anime side); creator-anime relation aka Staff credits from dropdown menu; song-song relation; song-creator relation (don't exclude already existing creator relations, the same guy can arrange, compose and sing the song); song-anime relation (don't exclude already existing anime relation, the same song can be played as OP and as ED within the same anime); song-collection relation (check the messages in perl given for certain matches, the same song can be added more than once to the same collection if they have a different type like normal vs instrumental). In AJAX search, when it doesn't find anything, it doesn't say anything either, if it finds no matches at all, how about a message saying "No results found"? | ||||
