| Description | As you no doubt know, the option to use .5 vote increments when voting was recently added. I just noticed that Anime Hint still doesn't support them, though. I voted Trigun with 7.5, and that change made absolutely no difference in the Anime Hint results... Which means that it's ignoring all my .5 votes (almost half of my total votes) -- doesn't seem too accurate. -_-; egg mentioned on the boards that the hard part is to decide the weights for .5 votes. I suggest the following: Strict: 0 => 40, 0.5 => 20, 1 => 5, 1.5 => -10, 2 => -20, 2.5 => -30, 3 => -40, 3.5 => -50, 4 => -60, 4.5 => -60, 5 => -60, 5.5 => -60, 6 => -60, 6.5 => -60, 7 => -60, 7.5 => -60, 8 => -60, 8.5 => -60, 9 => -60 Loose: 0 => 10, 0.5 = 4, 1 => 1, 1.5 => 0, 2 => -1, 2.5 => -2, 3 => -2, 3.5 => -3, 4 => -4, 4.5 => -5, 5 => -6, 5.5 => -7, 6 => -8, 6.5 => -9, 7 => -10, 7.5 = -11, 8 => -12, 8.5 => -14, 9 => -15 Could probably use some fine-tuning... | ||||

Note that it'd be better to graph rather than map votes, as you can actually vote to a precision of 0.01 or so. |
