| Description | i wouldn' dare to say we have atm all animes there are in anidb, but we have a good portion. to prevent doubleentries and BS being added to the db i would recommend to only allow new anime entries to be made with modapproval. this would also stop people *cough* keitarou *cough* from adding anime with only a name and a year... basically adding a new anime adds it as a creq instead of instantly adding it to the db. to clear some things up before the questions comes up: - this is only meant for anime entries, for nothing else atm! - episodes and files should stay untouched from this! | ||||

dunno about this one, we had 72 new anime additions last month. that seems to be a bit to much to require creqs for all of them. |

exp, we have at least the number of creqs for every new anime entry, because only a tiny portion of them are anything other than skeletons. A grant of a good looking entry is a very short job, and querying bad submissions this way is much simpler than dunting through for dupes and skeletons and fixing them. |

Well, I think this way people won't add dupes or lame entries based on just rumors, and I think is worse the number of CREQs a bad entry generates. I even spent a lot of time finding images for entries that were finally removed. I'm for it! |
