| Summary | 0001942: Add additional Description field to episodes to replace the renamed Notes field. | ||||
| Description | Since the former description field was recently changed in name to "Note", add a new field, separate from it, for episode summaries. Obviously that field would be only seen when checking the episode itself and not shown on the anime page like previously. Name could be the same as before, "Description". - Episode summaries are valuable and informative data. The Wiki has them, Wikias have them, even AnimeNfo has them. Not having them means another reason to not use AniDB and instead use other sites. - Currently added summaries can be preserved without the need to uselessly delete user contribution. | ||||
