| Description | The delete (or, as appropriate, request removal) button is not present in the first post of any thread. I can see why you'd want to not have the button if it's the *only* post in the thread (stops users from leaving postless threads around by instead forcing them to delete them), but the button is absent no matter how many posts the thread has. Deleting the post is perfectly possible by simply copying the post ID and using it on another post's delete URL, so it's merely a missing button issue. | ||||

Seems to be fixed now; I guess this can be closed? Edit: okay, maybe not. It turns out this issue happens on some threads but not on all. A first inspection indicates that it is possible that comments-type threads (I'm using the term as I defined it in issue 0002294 ("anime comments threads, anime-group comments threads, review comments threads, user guestbooks, and club shoutboxes"), but note that my definition may be inaccurate) do not suffer from the problem, while other threads do. |

yesd and that is intentional. deleting the first post in a comment thread is fine as it's just a collection of random posts. deleting the first post in a regular thread is not. if the first post goes in a regular thread you might as well kill the whole thread as it lost it's point |
