| Summary | 0002495: Calendar Integration into AniDB Home Page | ||||
| Description | Integrate some of the calendar info into the home page. It would essentially use the same info blocks as on the calendar, except the content moved around to make the blocks narrower. Solves 2 issues: 1) makes info more visible for new visitors to AniDB 2) promotes uses of calendar (considering no one seems to know it exists since new users (even old users) seem never to look at the nav pane... On a 1366x768p laptop screen, it should be narrow enough to fix 5 blocks across. The blocks would be based on the next 5 anime to air from today's date, including anime starting today. (or 3, or 7, etc depending on screen width) There would be a link at the top right of the block, to link to the full calendar page. See attached mock-up image.
