The current solution is breaking the aspect ratio by only resizing width and not height, at least on cdbstyle3-menu; in the example I provided this isn't all that terrible, but in some cases it can be downright ugly. I guess the simpler solution is to also scale the height by the same factor somehow, though I would personally prefer to have the sidebar 75px or so wider, which would allow for 500px wide pics at their native width and height. |
