Summary0002839: API Clients registration page instructions use incorrect grammar and spelling
DescriptionSeveral errors exist in the grammar and language of the instructions on the API Clients page (http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=client):

- "AniDB Delevopment Forum" should read "AniDB Development Forum"

- "The amount of clients" would be better phrased "The number of clients" (Ref. Webster's usage note on amount: "Number is regularly used with count nouns <a large number of mistakes> <any number of times> while amount is mainly used with mass nouns <annual amount of rainfall> <a substantial amount of money>. The use of amount with count nouns has been frequently criticized; it usually occurs when the number of things is thought of as a mass or collection <glad to furnish any amount of black pebbles — New Yorker> <a substantial amount of film offers — Lily Tomlin> or when money is involved <a substantial amount of loans — E. R. Black>.")

- "Client names are stricted to 4 to 16 lowercase characters" should read "Client names are restricted to 4 to 16 lowercase characters"

I don't have specific improvements on these items:

- Clarification on how to register a client that uses multiple APIs might be useful here.
- "If you need to register more clients please contact EXP directly." — does that really work? ;)

Steps To Reproduce- Go to http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=client
- See following text:

API Clients

NOTE
If you are writing a client you will need to register it's name here before you can test/use it.
The amount of clients you can register is limited to three.
If you need to register more clients please contact EXP directly.
If you have any questions please check the related AniDB Wiki pages and the AniDB Delevopment Forum.

NOTE
You have to enter your client on the AniDB UDP Clients Wiki page too!
Make sure you provide a download link to the latest version of your client there once you make it public.
As long as you're just testing stuff out you don't have to provide a download url, but you still have to list your client on that page!

NOTE
NOTE: Client names are stricted to 4 to 16 lowercase characters (a-z).
Additional InformationEdited version (not including revisions for last two suggestions, but with all grammar and spelling changes):

Missed one. This:
If you are writing a client you will need to register it's name here before you can test/use it.

Should read thus:
If you are writing a client you will need to register its name here before you can test/use it.
