Summary | 0002920: Resource: Rename "Official Japanese Website" to "Official Website"
Description | China continues to produce more and more anime shows and the amount will likely increase in the future. We don't have a resource type for "Official Chinese Website" yet, so the "Official Japanese Website" resource is sometimes used for that (Example: http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=12119 ) I suggest the addition of "Official Chinese Website" as a possible resource for that reason.

https://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=cmt&id=72539 As mentioned in the thread, I think generalizing "Japanese" to "Original Language", or using an alternative construct to the same effect of "Official Original Language Website", might be a superior alternative. I don't see a realistic use case in which we need to track the Japanese website of a Chinese anime, or the other way around. |
