| Description | May also apply elsewhere with similar season display. Winter seasons are understandably displayed in the YYYY/YY format as e.g. 2010/11. Makes perfect sense, except when YYYY ends in 99, in which case 99+1=100 and we go LOL MILLENIUM BUG all over again by displaying it as Winter 1999/100. Example anime for which this happens: Boogiepop Phantom, https://anidb.net/a179 I think everyone will understand what 1999/00 means in this case; 1999/2000 seems overkill. | ||||
