|Summary||0003045: Ajaxify buddy taste toggle|
Toggling taste for 10 buddies is an exercise in pain. Bonus points if you misclick and need to cycle back. I wouldn't be surprised if someone has already been autobanned while doing it.
Please make it so that this is a simple ajax toggle with at most a lightbox and not a page reload anymore.

||taste does literally nothing right now... or ever so far.|
Yeah, I know (even though a few pages claim otherwise :D), but I suppose it can be useful to keep track, and it can see uses at least for this page: https://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=myhints&do=buddy (is that new btw? I didn't know it was a thing).
Incidentally, the page in question claimed that I needed some buddies before it could do something, and I have dozens of them. Then I toggled four people from unknown to similar, and lo and behold!, a bunch of buddy recommendations showed up. I think it actually brought recommendations from *every* buddy as opposed to the four I had toggled to similar, though... Perhaps it would be nice to allow the user to choose between using all buddies, using only the ones with unknown/similar taste, and using only the ones with similar taste; I'll make a note to file that as a feature request later.
I was actually expecting that page to use buddy *votes* to recommend things to me, instead of buddy recommendations (which can already be seen on other pages), though I suppose that can be a separate page, so I guess I'll also add a feature request for that later. And then, if such a page became a thing, you could again choose between all buddies, unknown/similar taste only, and similar taste only.
For what it's worth, the buddy rec tab of https://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=myrecs and the buddy rec section of https://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=userpage could also use that. And yes, that's also going to be added as a separate feature request (don't kill me yet :P); I'm just listing possibilities here.
