Summary | 0003163: PM: Replying to a sent PM (from sentbox) should write a reply to the original recipient instead of to the sender | ||||
Description | If I send you a PM, open that PM, and press quote or reply, I'll begin writing a reply to myself rather than to you. That's very counterintuitive, since most people would expect the reply to be still to you, and nobody in their right mind checks that field right after pressing a reply button. People simply expect to write another message to the same person. That's how e.g. Gmail behaves. Side note: I'm filing this as a feature request because it's technically not a bug, assuming the current way is how it was designed to be. However, I think it's better to see it as a behavioral bug, or arguably a design bug, in that the way the feature is supposed to work can be considered buggy. As such, I'm okay with a category change to bug report. | ||||
