| Description | Since HTTPS is supported on the website it'd be nice if we got redirected from HTTP automatically. I'm not sure why this isn't the case already. This includes subdomains like this tracker. | ||||

it's a deliberate choice not to implement HTST or any other form of forced redirect for the main website. https forces post requests to be nilled which is often troublesome when editing stuff. so yes i value the comfort of our powerusers for editing more than the minimal extra security people get from using https on anidb. the only way i would ever implement this is if i had something to restore forms. implementing such things takes time and effort. neither i can spare anytime soon. i suggest using something like https everywhere as a browser plugin. |
