| Summary | 0000564: Export of Advanced Search results. | ||||
| Description | It would be great if one could export the results from the Advanced Search to file. This can be useful if one wants to do post-processing of the results, for example make reports in Excel or Access. It would probably be a good idea to have some method for choosing what to export; there could be three checkboxes like tis: [ ] Title [ ] Episode(s) [ ] Group(s) Selecting Episode(s) would auto-include Title and selecting Group(s) would auto-include Title and Episode(s) (not sure if this it the right thing to do but I'm thinking that exporting episodes without titles might not be useful). The first column in the exported data should probably have some kind of 'data type' info, perhaps 'T' for title, 'E' for episode and 'G' for group. That makes it easier to filter out the different entries from oneanoher. The data should probably be organized as one entry per row and the fields for each entry should be separated by a unique character, ideally user selectable. See attached example file. | ||||
