Same issue today for me for One Piece:

Again, it's random.

I'm fairly sure it only happens with anime with no end date set

shouldn't be a perl bug. there isn't much logic in this involved that could make this play bouncyball

- you need to have mylistadd rights
- no ep should be expanded
- you should have less than the displayed eps (in case the epcount for the anime is 0)/the set eps for the anime

the only reason this would start flickering would be if you started to add a series completely, removed it again and some data is still present in cache that would tell the logic "he got it completely". in either case i see nothing broken here.

if you are using the ajax version then fahry would need to look into this, but you didn't say what you are using

I think I'm using the AJAX one.

The issue is still there: yesterday I set upto episode 171 watched. Today, I can't set it upto episode 172 or 173 if I want to, because the feature is currently missing.

Maybe there is something related to air date here: episode 172 is not yet aired, so it won't display the button for me until 28/05/2008.

I remember that the issue does happens for "already aired" episodes, but there might be a cache problem as you mention: it might takes a day or two to aknowledge that there is a new episode aired. I don't know...

will just show it always no matter the state of your mylist as it was requested in http://tracker.anidb.info/view.php?id=1468
