| Description | Currently the default anime/episode titles only affect the mylist page from what I can see. Making them affect all the places where the main titles are displayed would be rather nice. Especially on the anime list/search pages. | ||||

you have to be a bit more precise there. what exactly and where do you want stuff. |

Profile -> Default Languages -> Title languages Changing the language for those options only affects how titles are displayed on http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=mylist from what I can see. All other pages use the main title for display. Pages that could be changed to display titles in the selected languages (if titles in that language exist) are: http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=animelist http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=latestanimes http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=schedule Anime pages, where related anime are shown. Group pages, where anime on which the group has worked on. Producer/creator/song/character/etc. - Basically everywhere where anime are listed. |

animelist lists titles in all languages. i somewhat don't see your point |

also while this might seem like "1 issue" to you it's multiple. in the end i could never close this tracker item. would really prefer if you open multiple entries for multiple requests. this one can still act as the parent of the others |

Changing it would make it so that a title in the selected language would be displayed instead. Example: Language is set to german If anime has official german title -> display it else if it has synonym german title -> display it else display main title (usually japanese transcription) I'll open the other tracker items after I make a list of all pages that might need this. (hopefully today) |
