Summary0001640: Add Latin American Spanish as a (separate) language
DescriptionAfter using AniDB for several months as a regular user (checking files, and even listing some local releases), i've noticed that it does not allow to distinguish titles/episode names between Spain' spanish (let's call it "old/traditional spanish") and Latin American spanish ("new spanish", it starts from Mexico, down to Argentina).

Let me clarify the things a bit: Lots of anime are licensed on both markets, or released by different groups in both zones, and they're dubbed/subtitled according with the target zone. Spain releases are on the "old" variety of spanish, while Latin American releases are in the "new" variety. It's common to see series with different titles and/or character names and/or episode titles depending on the zone... and there lies the problem: when you're going to add such titles into AniDB, there is NO WAY to know if these belong to the Spain versions or to the LA versions.

Examples:

- Some series like Love Hina and Initial D were licensed both in Latin America (TV only), and in Spain (TV/DVD). Episode titles were translated different in Spain and LA.

- Captain Tsubasa is known as "Oliver y Benji" in Spain, but in Latin America we know it as "Supercampeones". Slayers was released in Latin America as "Los Justicieros" (a literal translation of the title), and in Spain it was released simply as "Reena y Gaudi" (mis-spelling of the japanese for the main character names, Lina and Gourry)

I hope that this language issue can be solved, because it can cause some confusion between Spain and LA users on AniDB when inputting/getting data (and there are a LOT of these users lurking around).
Additional InformationAniDB DOES distinguish between Portuguese varieties (Brazil/Portugal)... so it makes sense to distinguish between both spanish types too.

I propose Mexican flag. Most latin-american anime is dubbed in Mexico, anyway. People caring for this 'language' will immediately understand the flag, too.

Mexican flag makes sense, it's an instant hit. Although there are dub studios in Venezuela, Colombia, Argentina and Chile, most stuff is dubbed in Mexico. The same thing most likely applies for fansub groups.

Either that or the OAS - http://www.oas.org/ - logo, for those "language/dub trolls", but that would be overkill :) Better stay with the Mexican flag...

"The flag of hispanic america"
Fine with me. Really, I think that getting stranded because of the flag is a little... I think the flag can be changed later, should a better idea come.

I also like that flag. It's unknown for most, but it's neutral, and mostly troll-safe. So it will work fine.
