Summary | 0001871: Add .ogg as accepted file format
Description | Ogg Vorbis is quite common these days, but audio files encoded with the codec can't be added to the database right now, unless they are in another container. Currently when trying to add .ogg files, it results in an "F-31 - illegal filetype" error.

Where the hell do you even get .ogg files from!? Are there really groups silly/stupid enough to release just the audio files?! |
|
First of all, if you reason like that, why are other audio formats allowed? Since for example mp3, flac, aac and ac3 are allowed, I see no reason not to allow ogg. In this particular case, it's a couple of external commentary tracks for anime episodes, which I think is a perfectly legal release. |
