Summary | 0002113: Mass-add and mass-edit tool for files: multi-file episodes
Description | For a lot of older anime and/or older files, it's often the case that the episode is split into 2+ files. Ie, Episode 1 part 1 of 3, Episode 1 part 2 of 3, Episode 1 part 3 of 3. Suggestion 1: ====== On the mass-add page, add 2 columns to enter the file-ep relation: -> Start % -> End % Default the relation to the current episode being indicated by mass-add for that file. Add a checkbox to toggle visibility of these 2 columns, so that it's hiddne by default to prevent accidental use. Ie, have a "Some of the files are partial-episode files" checkbox to show the above 2 columns. Suggestion 2: ====== On the anime-group entry page, as in http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=group&gid=0&aid=1647 Have the same columns shown, so that it can be mass-added and mass-edited. Again, a toggle box could be used to hide visibility. If there are no existing file-ep rels for the current episode, the columns will be blank when visible. If there's an existing file-ep rel with the current ep, the column cell for that file should contain the current relation %s. If there's at least 1 file-ep rel on a file that isn't it's current ep, ie a file that contains multiple episodes, disable input of the columns for that file.
