Summary | 0002771: Adv. char search: add field to search for creatorid
Description | Per https://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=cmt&id=56720 I think it'd be nice to add more functionality to the char search by allowing the user to put together the already existing filters with a seiyuu filter. If all I know about a character is that they were at least once voiced by someone in particular and that they had a distinct trait, it might help me find it if I could put those two together, rather than looking individually at the hundreds of characters that might potentially match either. Quoting myself on the thread: "he wants to filter out the list of characters voiced by a single seiyuu together with other stuff in the advanced search". This might include, for example, a tag. Female seiyuu often voice male characters, especially children; another example would be filtering the roles of a female seiyuu by male/female... or filtering the roles of a specific seiyuu by "other" gender. This greatly enhances the discoverability of a character when you have small specific bits of information about them. It may also be interesting to have a "is main seiyuu" choice for this search; yes/no/ignore would be ideal, but just yes/ignore (only main seiyuu? yes/no) already works well enough. The default behavior should be main seiyuu only. The thread originated two tickets, the other one being 0002770. Again quoting myself: putting them together, "you could potentially do something like this: list all Wakamoto Norio roles (as the character's main seiyuu) where his character is at least secondary cast in the show and plays the guitar".
