| Description | it takes some time to add a file to anidb - it might encourage me if there were a badge to be earned for adding files to anidb - there are other items that take time which also might benefit from a badge as well - managing volunteers is often aided by small bits of recognition, at least that has been my experience in the real world. | ||||

we don't have data add/edit badges because it encourages the wrong behavior. quantity says nothing about quality and there is no way to track quality. |

If you don't know what that is, refer to the adding files for dummies tutorial: https://wiki.anidb.net/w/Tutorial:How_to_Add_Files_for_Dummies! Encouraging avdumps effectively encourages adding files, as all added files should be avdumped. The difference is that encouraging avdumps doesn't encourage random file adding spam per se. |
