| Description | https://devint.anidb.net/c6857979 <-- 2015 creq on devint, has deldate and deluid fields properly filled https://anidb.net/c6857979 <-- same creq on main, misses both fields Somehow, despite the creq having been granted, the tagentityrel is present on main; behavior on devint is as expected. I'm not deleting it now because I don't want to overwrite anything. I tried readding and redeleting the tagentity on devint but it still behaved as expected. Note that the data is correct in devint, which means that the data was correct in the past and granting the creq removed the tagentityrel as expected; the data on main went bogus at some point between the time of the latest devint dump and now. | ||||

Yes. And that is *exactly the problem*. It was deleted in 2015, on main (prod), by granting a del creq. It stayed deleted for a few years and undeleted itself within the past few months; it's deleted on devint because the dump is older than this undelete. The only other explanation possible is that the entry on main was never deleted despite the fact I granted the del creq, and then it got deleted on devint on its own. Isn't this an issue in either case? It's an entry either plain undeleting itself of its own accord or first failing to get deleted and then deleting itself of its own accord. Data doesn't just do that; something *has* to be wrong. If this is a known bug that comes up every now and then and you have a solution in place for it, that's another thing, but with the limited insight (to say the least) I have on whatever quirks the DB may have, we might well have any number of data pieces behaving that way. |

no it did not. nothing undeletes itself. heck there is no such code to begin with. it prolly was recovered by demand of someone else. i do not have access to my logs as that is on my dead pc. |

Wait, you mean that it's likely that you personally restored that, even though it's much easier to just readd those with zero data loss? That's honestly quite surprising, but if you're saying that it's likely, then it's likely; you'll know that better than I do. Still, if you can look at those logs later and figure out what happened, let me know. In any case, I (re)deleted the phantom entry. Edit: and I can't close this myself because Mantis is silly, so please do that for me. :| Apparently I can set it back to "no change required", but I can't change from "feedback" to anything except "new", so Mantis screams at me and blocks the change. Go figure. |

iirc someone deleted the whole tag instead of removing the tag from an entity and restoring was required. might have restored some that didn't have to be. but that happened months ago so *shrug* |
