| Description | I decided that i move a certain genre out of my normal mylist. so now i had the problem to find all eps i have in mylist from that certain genre ;) that gave me the idea, that it would be neat if i just could click a checkbox in adv search to search through mylist instead of the whole db. besides this main idea there are two side-features that would be nice too (in case the main feature gets accepted): 1. it would be nice to also be able to make the storage state of something in mylist part of the search too .. and of corse what's possible with the links on the side of mylist (the hide complete and hide incomplete, ...) 2. could it be possible to make the look of the search result in mylist to the same as mylist? expandable and with icons to add and other infos .. in the end it would be some advanced advanced search :) if the 2 side features would be implemented too it would make sense to just create a additional search instead of adding it to the current adv search .. this would decrease usablity for adv search | ||||

The duplicate 0000445 was marked fixed. I don't see anything in the website indicating a way to search mylist. How is that done? |

lol...nice coincidence ... i just logged in to the tracker for the first time since a long time and i see this note of DonGato being added just a few hours ago ^^ I tried to find this feature too. I remember having seen somthing like that ("search only in mylist"), but i can't remember where |

search via adv search with something and then you see: "show synonyms - hide / show entries in mylist" |

it's not an exact duplicate, though. but 1. and 2. belongs to the mylist page, not adv. search, imo. i could add a checkbox or radio button for mylist filtering, but isn't it better to turn it on/off at the result page? |

@DerIdiot: didn't know that's possible... so when i click show it only shows mylist series and if i click hide it'll onle show series not in mylist? nice @epoximator: turning it on/off on the result page is what DerIdiot just told me and that's about better than what i wanted. Now it'd be nice to be able to filter the result like the mylist page for state, genre, completed, stalled, etc... and if the result also could look the same as mylist with the expansion of the files then the sidefeature would also be done. though since that's only an optional feature the main feature is now implemented and this issue can be marked completed. |
