| Description | When i'm entering russian symbols in 'search' field, i have no results. even if i do ctrl+c, ctrl+v from animepage. for example Last Exile. i can find using japanese (ラストエグザイル) and even arabic (المنفى الأخير) titles. but i can't do it searching for russian title (Изгнанник). | ||||

I have a similar issue with French titles when the LAST letter is with an accent. For example: * if the search pattern is pé, rê, tè, there will be no match. * if the search pattern is éc, êv, èr, there will be some matches. Because this kind of characters is unicoded using 2 bytes instead of one, I believe that the search code has problems with the very last byte. So the problem is related to, but a little bit different from the following one: http://tracker.anidb.info/view.php?id=496 (and please, one day, fix the tracker to display UTF-8 correctly) |
