Both ;) Firstly, category listing is too long. It's changing the appearance of anime page in unpleasant way. Secondly, there are so many stupid categories, like: http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=animelist&gennid=284 . From the forums topic, it seems most of good ideas about how to organize categories have become rejected by the community. So if it can't be changed, at least give the people that do not like them (not only me, I'm sure) option to hide it. |

well, a "major" flag was implemented for categories yesterday, which is now used by Chii[AR] to filter cats for the same reasons you give. it should be used @ the anime page too. the question is whether we still need additional layout options (show none/all/only major) the appearance can be fixed with css too |

it is used in the animepage already. implemented it for chii and the rest of the bit |
