| Description | Category links, espeically those that reference Japanese terms such as those under the "Audience" sub-section ought to have a short explanatory description added as the title attribute. Other places where these attributes might be useful include menu links (what is a creq? What does up2date do?), notification links (group, complete etc.), and other links (what does blacklist do?) | ||||

we're generally against this as it would be more to maintain @ site code. ie. we prefer to use the wiki for explanations. we could maybe add wiki links for each cat, like http://wiki.anidb.net/w/Categories:Josei. could be done with js even |

hmm, I thought there'd be an administration interface to manage categories and these short descriptions could have been added as a feature. Wiki links will work, but it isn't as user-friendly and the lack of a single sign-on feature for all of anidb's various complementary websites is something of a stumbling block. The categories wiki currently isn't organised by term either, but this could be worked around I guess. Ideally, we'd have both the title attribute and the wiki link :) |

While categories might be volatile, other links such as notifications could use explanatory titles. IMHO, not having a title attribute should be a special case. Title attributes ought to be norm for interface links. Thanks. |

The newly added "pref lang" link could also use an explanatory title. Anime tables with TR, TV, RA, RC and MC column headers will also benefit from an explanatory title attribute. |
