not much help that link now, is it, nwa? |
Why? Were old posts deleted? But there wasn't anything special to it, just pushing the subgroup files below the parent group files after their respective group name of course along with the stats, then somewhere (possibly at the bottom) have an overall stat for all the files the parent group was involved with. I guess it'd be better to have all the subgroup files not expanded at first, but still being expandable with the + icon. |
Another thing that would probably be noted, is to show the group/sub-group releases per anime, not per animegroup. By that I mean, if a joint group [anbu-aone] released naruto up to certain episode, and then the parent group continued alone [in this case, both anbu and aone] then show the anime naruto only once in the listing of animes released by the parent group aone (and anbu in the current case). Not episodes x-xx Naruto releases under anbu-aone subgroup and then another naruto entry (with eps xx-xxx) under aone group, since that would be silly. However, that would NOT work the way the files per group system currently works - show=group&gid=xx&aid=xx, only if it'd be possible to show 2 gid's in the same query string... But I don't know if that's possible and doable at all, I didn't study to be a programmer :P |

there's no guaranty that this will be implemented at all, yet. have you thought about the worst cases? like sh.. something |
Worst cases? What exactly do you mean? As for implementing it or not, it's not that I personally want this to be done (although it'd be neat), it's just that members from fansub groups have asked for it, or rather complained that the total # of episodes they've released is much smaller in anidb stats than in their own stats (due to joint group stats being separated from parent group stats). |
